After the controversies between bicycle enthusiasts, motorists, and the curious attitude of those who want both in order to avoid a deadlock, the Metropolis has opened an informal consultation, inviting residents and merchants to give their opinions before the public consultation of the requalification project announced by Christian Estrosi.
This survey, presented in the form of a questionnaire, is currently underway and will be open until October 16th.
The Boulevard Gambetta, a major axis of the city, has entered a new dynamic in recent weeks. After the delivery of the tram line 2, which from the Alsace Lorraine station and its garden allows reaching the Port and the airport in just a few minutes, and after
the experiment of the bike lane implemented the day after the lockdown, the revitalization of the economic fabric, the requalification of sidewalks, increased greenery, the development of new mobility options, and the implementation of a non-polluting transport offer are all directions on which everyone can express their views in order to restore the attractiveness of this neighborhood.
The results of this consultation, to which nearly 900 people have already responded, will enrich the public consultation which will be launched in the coming weeks.
