The University School of Arts and Humanities Research at the Côte d’Azur University and the Higher School of Audiovisual Production are opening the doors of the new Georges Méliès campus in Cannes on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
The Open House day at the Georges Méliès Campus in Cannes is the perfect opportunity for students and their parents to discover bachelor’s and master’s level programs in the fields of audiovisual production, animated film, sound techniques, artistic direction, digital and immersive communication, creative writing, sound design, music on screen, video games, and artistic project management. In 2021, the Cannes campus, where the business hub La Bastide Rouge is located, which brings together the largest cinema, television, and video game producers in the southern region, welcomed approximately 1,000 students.
Scheduled for this Open House Day: demonstrations, meetings, and a variety of activities. Staff, students, technicians, and program heads will be on hand to present and discuss artistic and audiovisual programs.
A campus tour is planned in small groups, including the opening of the Creative Lab, a space for experimentation equipped with a 3D printer and virtual reality equipment such as motion capture and eye tracking. Additionally, visits to the recording and shooting studios and sound booths will provide an insight into optimal learning work environments.
