Due to the cold period we are going through and the high electricity consumption it is likely to cause, ENEDIS announced an “EcoWatt” alert today, meaning a high risk of power outages between 6 PM and 8 PM in our region.
The Mayor of Nice has requested the implementation of precautionary measures, and specifically, as an exception tonight, from 5 PM to 1 AM, to turn off the decorative lights at the Masséna Museum, the South Station, the castle hill, and the greenhouse at Phoenix Park.
These actions represent a reduction of 352 KW in power, which will help relieve the grid accordingly.
