Since their first collaboration in 2001, more than 45 floats have been built by the carnival craftsmen of Nice based on his designs.
This year again, it is Gilles Povigna who was entrusted with the construction of these floats.
– CINÉSPACE (the heroes of Cinema from Méliès to Lucas)
– LEIKA (a tribute to the first living being sent into space in 1957 by the Russians)
– ESTELLA DE NISSA (more local inspiration: The famous Nice observatory and the Ratapignata) compared to the design we transformed the Niçois Eagle into Ratapignata, an eagle already featured on another float and we did not have a representation of the Ratapignata in our 2018 Carnival.
