During this school holiday, the City of Nice invites children and teenagers to enjoy the 13th edition of the Printemps des Mรดmes. Organized this year in a digital format by the Department of Childhood and Entertainment, this festival of live arts and performances offers a varied program of cultural and festive activities over two weeks.

Until April 25th, on the event’s website or Facebook page, the whole family can gather around theater performances, shows, and music… under the theme “Once upon a time…”. For this new 100% online edition, new activities are also offered, focusing on the theme of well-being.

Created by the City of Nice in 2008, this youth festival offers young people entertainment alternatives during the holidays with a strong ambition: to introduce or reintroduce live art, awaken young people to performing arts, and contribute to their cultural and artistic education outside the school environment.

Ever-inspiring to artists, the world of imagination and fairy tales forms the foundation of the legends that inspire beautiful children’s stories as well as the works of great playwrights, choreographers, and creators. An evergreen theme that opens up a vast array of possibilities: from the tales of One Thousand and One Nights to the Wild West, from fairies, elves, and other trolls to the most mysterious myths straight out of the old books of the Brothers Grimm, Charles Perrault, or Hans Christian Andersen. A 2021 edition where dreams and reality will be intertwined for our greatest delight.
