Winner of the Qatar Grand Prix two weeks ago, Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) secured pole position this Saturday and will start at the front on Sunday during the Portuguese Grand Prix, the third round of the Moto GP season.
It is the eleventh pole for the 21-year-old Frenchman. Spaniard Alex Rins (Suzuki) will start in second position. Returning after nine months of absence due to a fractured right humerus operated on three times, Spaniard Marc Marquez (Honda) will be 6th on the starting grid.
