Two “sensitive” neighborhoods in Nice (Moulins and Ariane) are part of the Everyday Security Police plan (PSQ) announced yesterday by the Minister of the Interior, Gรฉrard Collomb.

They will receive “additional resources” โ€” an increase of 15 to 30 police officers each time.

The first trials will begin during the first quarter of 2018.

For Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, “The Everyday Security Police will need to be evaluated over a long period, but I can only be pleased to receive additional personnel. I have continually requested more in the Ariane and Moulins neighborhoods so that other units can be deployed in greater numbers elsewhere in the city.”
