To save Christmas, the 3A Hôtels La Collection group has envisioned gourmet… and charitable Yule logs! An opportunity for the people of Nice to order online and savor delicious desserts, with the proceeds going to the Secours Populaire.
In this difficult period for everyone, the Aston La Scala, West End, and Plage Beau Rivage hotels haven’t forgotten those who are even more in need, by donating 20% of the proceeds from these gourmet desserts to the French non-profit organization, the Secours Populaire.
Merry Christmas to the little gourmets!
To have an unforgettable Christmas, despite the presence of the Coronavirus, Adrien Bocquet, pastry chef at the Hôtel Aston La Scala, focused on creating the Yule logs for the 3A Hôtels La Collection group. For this occasion, he designed desserts that will be enjoyed by the guests of the three hotels as well as the residents of Nice, who can order their Yule log online and collect it directly at the Hôtel Aston La Scala to celebrate Christmas at home. Thank you, Click and Collect system!
Among these delicious desserts is the “Anjuna” Yule log, which will transport tasters to tropical islands with its coconut, caramel, and passion fruit flavors. For chocolate lovers, the “Anaya” will bring a moment of pure bliss with its chocolate, praline, and hazelnut flavors. Enough to bring a smile to pastry enthusiasts.
Free stays hidden in the Yule logs
Always close to its clients, the 3A Hôtel La Collection group has hidden “surprise trees” in some of these Yule logs. The winning clients will be offered a one-night stay, in a double room with breakfast included, at their choice of one of the group’s Nice establishments:
- At Hôtel Aston La Scala with its ideal location facing the Promenade du Paillon.
- At Hôtel Beau Rivage with its contemporary decor rooms.
- At Hôtel West End, the historical establishment on the Promenade des Anglais.
For Jean-François Richomme, the president of the 3A Hôtels La Collection group, it’s a win-win project for everyone.
“In Christmas 2019, we organized a gift drive at the base of Christmas trees in our hotels in favor of the Secours Populaire. In total, more than 1,500 games, toys, and stuffed animals were collected! But given the sanitary rules being what they are, unfortunately, we couldn’t repeat the experience. That’s why we decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from our ‘signature Yule logs’ to them this year, because even in times of crisis, everyone should be able to celebrate Christmas.”
