This is the first time in France that several major players in a city are coming together for a common project to promote its commerce. In Nice, a site will soon be launched: Nice Shopping.
What is Nice Shopping?
Created in May 2017, Nice Shopping is ready to be launched. For eight months, the project’s stakeholders have thought of everything to make shopping in Nice easier. They want a tool that is accessible and comprehensible for everyone. Thus, the site will resemble a “business directory” where users can search by activity, geolocation, or neighborhood to find a specific pair of shoes, for example.
Who can benefit from it?
The priority of Nice Shopping is to simplify shopping for consumers. There are many benefits available: ease of parking, public transportation, and delivery. But it is also aimed at benefiting all merchants, from small shops to large chains. For this, they will have the opportunity, for those who do not already have it, to gain visibility on the site. They will also be able to promote offers and events.
When will the site be accessible?
The site will be launched during Nice Shopping Day, and what a launch it will be! From April 7 to 14, a grand geo-located game will be organized throughout the city. To bring shopping to every neighborhood, the residents of Nice and tourists are invited to move around to solve a scavenger hunt. The goal is to introduce neighborhoods and shops that are not typical shopping spots for the locals. Up for grabs: purchasing power of 500 euros to spend immediately.
