The association Cinéactions presents the 9th edition of the “new talents” short film festival “Cinémator,” the must-attend event for short film enthusiasts, from March 1 to 4.
Short films, considered a “full-fledged art form” and a “stepping stone to feature films,” will be in the spotlight.
As every year, productions from student, amateur, semi-professional, and professional directors will compete on the big screen at the Juliette Gréco hall.
The public will have the chance to discover creations from the PACA region, from France, and the entire Mediterranean basin (Spain, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, etc.).
A jury (composed of professionals from the cinematic arts, young directors who have won awards in previous years, and enthusiasts of this discipline) will designate the winners in each category.
Some members of the jury include Malika Zaïri (Moroccan director), Quentin Lecocq (director), Maryne Cayon (actress), and Farah Khadhar (Tunisian director).
