This Sunday, March 4th from 3 PM to 4 PM – Place Garibaldi Amnesty International, MRAP, and the “All Citizens!” Association are calling for a gathering.
The Syrian government, supported by Russia, is bombing its own people in the Eastern Ghouta region near Damascus. In recent weeks, thousands of people have been killed or injured. This situation is not new for the inhabitants of Eastern Ghouta: victims of a cruel siege for almost five years, they are now attacked daily, killed, and mutilated by their government. Children and the elderly are dying from malnutrition and lack of medicine.
The bombings must stop, humanitarian aid must be allowed into the region, the siege of Ghouta must be lifted, and civilians wishing to flee the area must be able to do so safely.
