The University Nice Sophia Antipolis and the Fund for the Integration of Disabled Persons in the Public Service are signing a collaboration agreement to promote the professional integration and job retention of disabled staff members at UNS.
The agreement, amounting to โฌ609,330, will enable the implementation of significant actions for the university staff over the next three years.
The multi-year partnership agreement between the FIPHFP and the University Nice Sophia Antipolis aims to allow UNS to intensify its policies and actions in favor of staff members with disabilities by directly addressing recruitment conditions, integration, and job retention. To this end, the University Nice Sophia Antipolis commits to deploying all available resources to fulfill its obligation to employ at least 6% of staff with disabilities as soon as possible.
The University Nice Sophia Antipolis currently has 2,621 staff members: teachers, teacher-researchers, administrative and technical staff. In 2016, 77 staff members benefited from the employment obligation.
Established by the law of February 11, 2005, and implemented at the end of 2006, the FIPHFP, Fund for the Integration of Disabled Persons in the Public Service, has seen the employment rate rise from 3.74% in 2006 to 5.49% in 2017 since its creation.
