In the hospital, 71 Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, compared to 96 the previous day, according to the health agency, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic to 109,857. In terms of infections, health authorities have reported 8,161 new cases in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the vaccination campaign, open to all adults since the beginning of the week, continues to accelerate: 27,038,449 people have received at least one injection, which is 40.4% of the total population and 51.5% of the adult population. Finally, 11,707,481 people have received both doses, which is 17.5% of the total population and 22.3% of the adult population.
