During the same period, health authorities reported 2,855 new COVID infections, down from 5,070 seven days ago. On average over the past week, the number of new infections has fallen below 4,000, to 3,987 cases.
The vaccination campaign continues to make progress. A total of 30,252,980 people have received at least one injection (representing 45.2% of the total population and 57.6% of the adult population), according to health authorities this evening. 15,759,420 people have a complete vaccination schedule.
