For this fifth edition, the Harley du Coeur association, accompanied by the famous Toques Brûlées, invites you to celebrate summer by participating in the grand charity picnic for the benefit of hospitalized children in the pediatric departments of Archet 2 and the Mediterranean Proton Therapy Center. The goal is to collect new toys that will then be handed over to them directly.
This year, the International Club of Toques Blanches will also be present in the kitchen alongside David Faure and his team to prepare the delicious meal!
The idea of this big day is to reconnect with the tradition of a family Sunday picnic while doing a good deed! The concept is to trade a new toy for a delicious 4-star meal prepared in front of the public by the famous Toques Brûlées and their chef friends, some of the best in the region and even beyond.
At the pastry workshop helm, the Start’up Gourmande by Bruno Laffargue, accompanied by Pascal Picasse and Pascal Rolfo, as well as their little apprentice chefs.
Lunch can be enjoyed on the grass or at tables, and participants can then take advantage of the activities reserved for them throughout this great festive day!
This festive day, calling for participants’ donations and generosity, takes place in the wonderful setting of the Cimiez gardens in Nice.
Among the novelties, a stage with two concerts by Manoé and Jason and Co, the famous Georgette joins the table, the garden of winds for creating objects from recycled materials, and you can also enjoy a real “Repair Café”!
100% of the donations collected will be given to children weakened by illness!
As in previous years, this operation will take place in two stages:
– The picnic day to collect toys
– The handover of collected toys to the children during a recreational afternoon organized within the pediatric departments. Toys but also smiles and human warmth!
Moreover, those whom the Harley du Cœur affectionately call their little protégés, these children weakened by illness or disability, will be the privileged guests of the big-hearted bikers at Cimiez!
