The State has selected the NCA Metropolis as an experimental territory for the accelerated implementation of the “Housing First Plan.”
As the only territory in France to benefit from an experimental delegation to initiate programs including “adapted PLAI” (very social rental housing), the NCA Metropolis, with the help of more than 520,000 euros for 2018 and 3.1 million for the period 2018-2023, will be able to propose innovative and sustainable solutions to combat poor housing and homelessness as early as this year, and work even more effectively for the benefit of vulnerable populations.
As the leader in housing policy, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis will continue to develop, with its partners throughout the metropolitan area, a housing offer adapted to the needs of citizens. The actions implemented address the challenges of social diversity and access, economic development, and professional integration.
