An original creation for C’est pas classique where music meets the visual art of sand drawing (or sand art). A handful of sand will come to life with a few graceful gestures by sand artist Katerina Barsukova, and the ephemeral images will gradually merge with the music to the rhythms of works by great 20th-century composers performed by violinist Dmitri Makhtin and the Cannes Orchestra, under the direction of Benjamin Levy. Everyone will find their share of pleasure in this musical and visual show, sometimes narrative, sometimes abstract, or even meditative.
