As the human toll increases, with 2 deaths and 552 injured, including 95 law enforcement officers, the Minister of the Interior strongly condemns the violence and damage perpetrated in recent days.
They remind us that these four days of protests have resulted in 582 arrests and 450 custodial detentions. Prison sentences have already been handed down by the courts. Investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators of offenses and bring them to justice.
They once again call on everyoneโs responsibility to put an end to actions that they highlight as illegal. The right to protest is a fundamental right in our country, but it must be exercised under the conditions provided by law.
