For the 2018 holiday season, Nice envisions an artistic Christmas. A Christmas with a Cinema theme, ready to light up the most beautiful squares and avenues. The illuminations will shine throughout the city from November 30 to January 14, 2019.
Traditional decorations, unique light sculptures… nighttime strolls will leave no one indifferent.
The traditional decorations, large vertical or horizontal motifs hung on lampposts or on cables stretched from façade to façade, have been chosen to illuminate the streets and adorn the squares and boulevards.
The palm trees of the Promenade des Anglais will be lit from Rauba Capeu to Place Magnan.
More specifically, locals and visitors can enjoy:
the recreation of the Studios de la Victorine (whose centenary will be celebrated in 2019) in front of the water mirror on the Promenade du Paillon
the Hollywood-style light sculptures on the Avenues de la République and Borriglione, and rue Masséna
the light projections on the building façades of Place Masséna
