Two King’s cakes for the Pope made by a Drap-based bakery!

Latest News

A little over a year ago, Jérémy Casalati opened his first bakery in Drap. In early December, this 26-year-old from Drap received a special order for a very important client in the ecclesiastical world.

A puzzling order because the recipient is none other than Pope Francis. Indeed, Jérémy and his team made two King Cakes weighing 6 kilos each. This gourmet creation required some technical adaptation and hours of work. “It took 4 resting periods and 1 hour of baking…” Jérémy explains, delighted. It’s not every day one gets the chance to bake for the Holy Father!

Thus, on December 12th at noon, the association “Amitié France Italie,” the event organizer, came to pick up this famous Provence holiday cake that would be on Pope Francis’s table on December 13th.

An exceptional order for the store “Boul’Ange” which still can’t believe it! It just goes to show that the magic of Christmas exists!
