During this month of July, the Maison de l’Environnement located in the North of Nice will host the nature photography festival for the third time.
Even though the festival has already started in June, it is in July that it will take on a new dimension. Until September 2, 2022, exhibitions, conferences, screenings, and workshops will be accessible to all residents of Nice.
From June 18 to September 2: Exhibition “The Whispers of Seasons” by the Photon Collective –
The aim of this exhibition organized by the Photon Collective, featuring three photographers each exploring in their own way, the treasures of the valleys overlooking the Nice coastline, is to honor the biodiversity, complexity, and beauty of the natural world.
- Tuesday, July 26, 5:00 PM – Conference and screening “The Bellow in the Land of Roudoule” by Philippe Galazzo
The Roudoule Valley, hidden in the folds of the Alpes-Maritimes, contains many natural treasures. It is this beauty that Philippe Galazzo seeks to highlight in his exhibition “The Secret Valley”.
- Tuesday, July 26, 6:15 PM – Conference and screening “Our Three Red Valleys: Cians, Daluis, Roudoule” by Christophe Blanchy
Seen from the sky, the valleys of Cians, Roudoule, and Daluis stand out not only for their warm hues but also for hiding rich and varied ecosystems.

Creation of “faces” using vegetal elements – fruits, vegetables, flowers, leaves – in the style of the four portraits from Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s series “The Seasons”. These faces created on a table will be the subject of a “studio photo” session with their creators.
