After the Arles Arena in 2021, the French Beach Volleyball Championship will settle this weekend in the Alpes-Maritimes, in Saint-Laurent-du-Var .
The best French beach volleyball pairs will compete from July 22 to 24 on the Cousteau Beach in Saint-Laurent-du-Var with one goal: to become the French champion.
There are 16 pairs per gender who will perform to succeed the duos Alexia Richard and Lézana Placette for the women, Youssef Krou and Olivier Barthélémy for the men.
Éric Tanguy, president of the French Volleyball Federation, spoke about this new edition of the French championships and the choice of venue:
“Today, I am happy to return to the Mediterranean beaches and participate in the grand festival of sand sports alongside other disciplines and Federations within the Beach Sport Festival… For three days, the entire beach volleyball family will be present, complete, on Cousteau Beach. The best French female and male players will compete to try to win the highly coveted title of French champion.”
