The prefect has decided to extend the obligation to wear a mask for two more weeks starting from the age of 11.
We thought we would get rid of it, but that’s not the case, the mask will remain stuck to our face until mid-September. It will be mandatory in all municipalities of the Alpes-Maritimes department.
Given the numerous infections in the region, the prefect preferred to anticipate rather than take risks. Wearing a mask remains essential in all public spaces. The places affected by this new extension are markets, flea markets, gathering places, city centers, shopping malls, beaches (only in case of crowds or gatherings), demonstrations and not forgetting establishments where the health pass is required.
