After two years of absence due to the health crisis, the famous flea market at the port of Nice, organized for 10 years, is finally making its grand return to the city. It’s a former habit that the people of Nice have not forgotten, and an opportunity for them to reminisce about old memories.
This Saturday, September 25th, the flea market doors will be open to the public from 6 AM to 6 PM. In partnership with the city of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the association Port Avenir has been presenting this project for about a decade.
According to information from the newspaper Cnews, the president of the “Port Avenir” association states that “It’s a real relief, because everyone was a bit frustrated with this forced stop”.
The flea market will be organized as follows: 200 spots will be offered, and 170 have been reserved by exhibitors. No items will be displayed on the ground; everything will be presented on tables and trestles to “preserve a beautiful image of the flea market.” announced the president.
