Until December 17, at the Nice Flea Market, artist Elodie Avati invites you to discover her works during an exhibition entitled “Éclats de Nice”.
Elodie Avati has chosen to display nearly ten paintings on the façades of the Nice Flea Market, Quai Lunel. Since 2017, artists have indeed had the opportunity to exhibit at the Nice Flea Market, so that art becomes part of the public space and can be appreciated by everyone.

After work or during a stroll, you can come and appreciate her “éclats de Nice“, her city that she has painted from every angle. The Negresco, the Plongeoir, the Cours Saleya, or even the square head, her paintings showcase the few éclats that make up the city’s splendor, each accompanied by a poem.
“My incredible mirage,” accompanied by the poem “What do you have in store for us today, boat of nostalgia… A delicious dish, a vision that does not exist? Magic.” Elodie Avati
“The Water of Nice,” accompanied by the poem “You hide so well the hidden treasure of Nice, that comes from the Paillon springs and glides!” Elodie Avati
In creating her works, Elodie Avati doesn’t have a magic formula; she can just as easily “spend two hours on a canvas, tear it all up, set it aside, then redo everything and spend fifteen days“. Regardless of the time she spent, all her paintings accurately depict the city and make you want to discover or rediscover it.
