One year after the Panama Papers scandal, tax evasion is still rampant. Financial opacity continues to allow multinationals and wealthy individuals to escape paying their fair share of taxes, while tax competition is dramatically accelerating. Across the world, enormous sums are missing to address social and environmental emergencies.
This is why the Global Alliance for Tax Justice, along with hundreds of civil society organizations from all continents, is calling for a week of global mobilization from April 1 to April 7, 2017. In France, dozens of events are planned throughout the week.
In this context, Attac Nice will protest against this tax fraud. They invite you to join them on Wednesday, April 5, starting from 5 p.m. in front of Séphora, 8 bis avenue Jean Médecin.
