The Radical Party maintains an electoral alliance with The Republicans.

“While naturally there are still differences between the program of the LR candidate and ours, we intend to defend our positions during the campaign and then in Parliament,” declared Hervé Cael, president of the Radical Party 06 and member of the national committee that met during the National Council of the UDI, of which the Radicals are a component.

During this National Council of the UDI, Hervé Cael spoke to reaffirm a number of the centrists’ intangible principles: “The philosophical convictions of a presidential candidate must not lead to a conflict of interest with values that we must reaffirm without any ambiguity as being intangible. I would particularly mention three societal themes: The laws related to abortion, end-of-life, and the fight against all forms of discrimination.”
