On Netflix, some Christmas movie classics

Love Actually

Directed by Richard Curtis in 2003, this film has over the years become a classic in the romantic comedy and Christmas movie category. Through ten distinct stories, love is portrayed in all its forms in this film with a five-star cast (Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightleyโ€ฆ).

The Polar Express

In this animated film, a young boy doubting the existence of Santa Claus boards a train, the Polar Express, heading to the North Pole. He will meet other youngsters there and gradually realizes the extent of his gifts as the train ventures into enchanted realms.

The Holiday

This romantic comedy has also become a classic Christmas movie and features a beautiful cast (Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, and Jack Black). Here, Amanda, an American, and Iris, an Englishwoman, decide to swap homes without knowing each other after their romantic disappointments. Iris lands in Los Angeles in a luxurious villa, while Amanda arrives in a typically English cottage. The two women enjoy peaceful holidays before being disrupted by the arrival of Iris’s brother into Amandaโ€™s life and Miles into Irisโ€™s life.

Bambi

The channel will broadcast this Disney classic, Bambi, the story of a young fawn, the new little prince of the forest, who must learn to fend for himself when his mother is killed by hunters.
