The association “SOS Prema,” chaired by Audrey Reynaud, supports premature children and their families.
Given the increase in premature births (+45% in 15 years), this phenomenon is considered a major public health issue.
As part of its Departmental Childcare Plan, the Department of Alpes-Maritimes signed a partnership agreement with the association on November 24, 2016, for better management of prematurity.
The Department provides the association with an office located in the Maternal and Child Protection (PMI) center of West Nice, where it holds consultations for users.
