Event : Día de los Muerto at Stockfish
This evening will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in an essential tradition of Mexico. Inscribed in UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage, this colorful and joyful celebration honors our deceased loved ones while celebrating life. Prepared by the Franco-Mexican Association of the Côte d’Azur, the program promises a Mariachi concert, Mexican folk dances, singing as well as Festival DJ sets. A traditional altar will allow everyone to place a photograph, an offering or a flower in tribute to their deceased loved ones. Behind the festive atmosphere, emotion and collective memory will take hold of the smallest of the large halls.
Refreshment stands and Mexican specialties will be available on site. Come made up and costumed, the most beautiful Catrinas and Catrins will be rewarded by a jury. By reservation, entrance fees range from 5 to 10 euros.

Event : the 3rd edition of the Oktoberfest
Inspired by the Munich festival, this celebration honors German traditions, revisited in Nice style. The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, the Europe Direct Center and the City of Nice invite visitors to experience a gastronomic getaway, with stands offering German and Bavarian specialties. A live concert and activities in the colors of Germany and Bavaria will punctuate the evening. Admission is free and open to all.

Football : OGC Nice hosts Rennes

Cinema : come get thrilled in the dark theaters
The Nice cinematheque offers an immersive day in the world of horror films with “« Chilling Cinema«. On the program, three theaters and three different experiences. Cult films with a macabre universe will be offered to the youngest. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to delve into two monuments of pop culture, causing a real emotional rollercoaster : from a horror comedy (“«Little Shop of Horrors«) to genuine chills (“«Invasion of the Body Snatchers«). Finally, the most experienced will have the chance to experience a unique experience with four mystery screenings, terror is guaranteed.
For the first and third theaters, the session price is 4 euros. For the second theater, cinematheque rates apply: 6.50 euros per session for non-subscribers and 3.50 euros for subscribers. Seats are limited to 25 people per session.
