The Magic Festival returns this year for a second edition from April 22 to 27, 2024.
The second installment of this festival focuses on greater theatricality “Magicians make us believe in the impossible and that’s where the magic happens.” A unique second edition, featuring prestigious artists like the famous magician Olmac “I was given the opportunity to create a festival with the best,” he confides.

Unlike the previous year, all festival shows will be offered at 10€. “We cannot afford to make all entries free (as in the first edition, Editor’s Note), we also have to pay the artists who work,” asserts Murielle Mayette-Holtz, the director of TNN. To compensate, TNN regularly organizes many performances throughout the year that are accessible to everyone for free.
The National Theatre of Nice brings theater out into middle schools and high schools. They organize many activities, notably at Lenval hospital and in conjunction with sports and culture with OGC Nice. The goal is to create links between theatrical culture and the population.
An event accessible to all
The magic festival also aims to be a gathering for professionals. With the Gold Dove Congress having ended, the magic festival can become a must-attend event for professional magicians. In the hall of La Cuisine (the second stage of the National Theatre of Nice) there will be magic stands to discover and market magic tricks to professionals.
For visitors, there will be workshops for children before each performance. To allow young audiences to enjoy the magic festival, vacation periods were chosen for the organization of this festival.
