On Friday, October 27, the Nice-à-vélo association is organizing a bike ride inspired by Halloween and the iconic Zombie Bike Ride from across the Atlantic.
The departure for this “Véloween” parade will take place at the Rauba Capeu quay at 7:30 PM. The association offers a bike decoration workshop beforehand starting at 6:30 PM. This parade, a few days before Halloween, invites all participants to dress up for the occasion! The atmosphere is intended to be warm and friendly. Additionally, this event aims to emphasize the importance of responsible behavior. It seeks to highlight inadequate infrastructure and the inaction of decision-makers regarding the safety of cyclists and pedestrians.
The objective of this event is to amplify the various demands of road users. They particularly wish for the improvement of Nice’s infrastructure. They also insist on the strict enforcement of regulations. Finally, they aim to strengthen awareness campaigns about road dangers.
