Under a bright sun and a gentle breeze in the Bay of Antibes, Victor Migraine and his teammates (the CESI Sailing Team Rouen) became 2017 French University Match Racing Champions!!!
They won against Jérémy JEAN (from the Nantes University Sports Association), with 2 points to 0, even though Jérémy and his crew were first during the round robin.
In the women’s category, Elodie Bonafous (from the sports association of the University of Western Brittany) solidified her position as a favorite, securing the 3rd place on the podium.
She prevailed with 2 points to 1, against Margot RIOU (from the Nantes University Sports Association).
This Championship was very well organized and highlighted sailing and university sports. Several teams appreciated participating and competing with others with the guiding principles of fair play and friendliness.
