Le Havre vs. OGC Nice: A Second Win for the Gym?

Latest News

Victorious over Reims last Sunday, the Aiglons will try to confirm their positive momentum against Le Havre in anticipation of the 16th day. What to expect?

Promoted to the elite, the oldest club is surprising this season by displaying an enjoyable style of play. Ranked 11th with 16 points, Luka Elsnerโ€™s team, son of Marko, the former central defender of OGC Nice (1991-93), is capable of upsetting any team in Ligue 1. That being said, they’re not in great form at the moment, as the team hasn’t won since last November 5th. Le Havre is coming off a defeat against Strasbourg (2-1).

On the Nice side, however, nothing much to report, or almost nothing. After being defeated after 14 days by the Canaries, the Aiglons managed to bounce back and snatch a hard-fought victory against Stade de Reims last Sunday. Undoubtedly, the best defense in Europe (6 goals conceded) seems calm and ready to play for the podium this season.

Thuram out for several weeks

Injured in the knee, the midfielder is expected to return in January. In the meantime, Francesco Farioli will be able to rely on Youssouf, Boudaoui, and Sanson to keep things steady in midfield. Diop and Bouanani will not be part of the game either.

Probable lineups
