A little recap of the Asian Pop Day on Saturday, June 22, 2024, where the Maison de l’Étudiant organized a day centered around Japanese pop culture and K-Pop.
The Maison de l’Étudiant opened its doors to host a day dedicated entirely to Japanese pop culture and Korean K-Pop. Throughout the day, the public was able to explore a wide range of activities and stalls. During the day, we encountered several young cosplayers from famous anime and manga. In fact, all cosplayers could access the event for free.
On this day, the public was able to fully immerse themselves in the culinary culture of various parts of Asia with numerous stalls offering Sushi, Bubble tea, and Mochis… To round out the day, young students could spend a few euros at the manga stalls available for sale.
In the Stockfish concert hall: K-pop music was played, there were dance battles, quizzes, and a concert. Until 11:00 PM, young people could enjoy a host of activities, ranging from video game tournaments and calligraphy workshops to blind tests on famous Korean songs.
