The 40th Tour de France à la Voile delivered its verdict this Saturday in Nice, with a grand finale featuring the top eight teams in the General classification.
Already assured of victory in the Tour, the crew of Fondation FDJ – Des Pieds et Des Mains played their cards perfectly by winning this decisive race, held in superb conditions.
The other two podium spots were highly contested, and ultimately, the crews of Trésors de Tahiti and Beijaflore claimed the 2nd and 3rd places in a memorable 2017 edition.
Earlier in the day, the 21 other teams, divided into two groups, competed for the places of honor. In the Amateur category, Homkia / Les Sables d’Olonne Agglomération withstood the pressure from Team Installux Aluminium and won the Tour in its category.
