Several hundred people gathered this Thursday afternoon at Place Garibaldi in Nice, following the call of the CGT and several other unions.
They are protesting, among other things, against the reform of the labor code by ordinances.
According to the unions, slightly fewer than a thousand people, and 400 according to the police, responded to the call to rally launched by CGT, Solidaires, and several other unions.
Trams and buses are running normally even though anti-labor law graffiti has covered the trains and many vehicles.
