Since July 15, 2024, the iconic Castle Hill in Nice has been transformed into a place of contemplation and reflection on love thanks to the monumental exhibition by Italian artist Andrea Roggi.
Entitled “Agapé. Love that Changes the World“, this exhibition showcases imposing and captivating works that will be on display until September 15, 2024. Subsequently, from September 15 to December 15, 2024, these sculptures will be moved to the Quai des États-Unis, offering a new perspective to visitors.
The Showcased Works
Among the exhibited works, three stand out particularly, including two new pieces: “L’Amore, il Futuro del Mondo” and “Il Futuro siamo Noi“. These bronze sculptures, enhanced by the natural setting of Castle Hill and the Bay of Angels, embody the essence of universal love as defined by the Greek concept of Agapé.
These monumental works, both robust and airy, harmoniously integrate into the Nice environment, creating a visual dialogue between art and nature. Visitors to the exhibition will thus be able to appreciate not only the beauty of the sculptures but also their profound message, both universal and timeless.
