What a disappointment for the men’s 4×400 meters relay. After a solid performance by Tรฉo Andant from Nice, finishing his 400 meters in sixth position, the hopes of the French team seemed to revive. At the start of the final turn, the French runner was jostled by the South African athlete, causing his fall which dashed the team’s chances. Despite this setback, Saรฏdy didnโt want to give up or abandon. He completed the race, finishing in last position, but with the pride of having taken his team to the end, with his head held high.
