Inspired by the supreme leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon, organized by the CGT and other union groups, the fourth day of mobilization against Emmanuel Macron’s “liberal” policy and his labor code reform was not a great success.

Hardly 8,000 in Paris, and a few hundred in Nice (including the Galderma workers who were protesting for something else, the loss of their jobs!), the movement seems to be running out of steam.

This “revolt” is struggling to take off and hasn’t really “caught on” with the public.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon attributes this crushing failure to “union division” while claiming that “millions of political militants are ready to take action”!!!

Words of a rebellious spirit?

Will there be a fifth, or even a sixth day of strikes? If so, they will need to hurry, Christmas is approaching…
