A conference on the theme of the Burmese minority, organized by a group of second-year LEA students at the Faculty of Letters this Thursday at 5:30 PM (Amphitheater 68).
The Rohingyas are a Muslim minority in Myanmar, where they are considered outsiders in a country that is over 90% Buddhist. The Rohingyas are stateless even though some have lived in the country for generations.
This conference will provide an opportunity to learn about the history of this marginalized population!
With the participation of Amnesty International, UNICEF, the Averroès Humanity association, A Gesture for All, and Mercy.
