FACE06 is preparing to welcome thousands of students for the 15th edition of Student Welcome Day (JAE) on September 26, 2024. This event promises to be a celebration rich in discoveries, sports, and solidarity.
Since its inception, Student Welcome Day has been a crucial moment for newcomers. This year, the event will take place in the Albert I Gardens in Nice. These gardens will be transformed into a true university village for the occasion. JAE goes beyond a simple welcome day. It offers a total immersion in student life. Freshmen can forge connections and discover their future academic environment.
An intercampus challenge at the heart of the event
This edition’s program features an intercampus challenge that will put students in competition in a friendly and festive atmosphere. Each campus will be able to defend its colors in sporting and fun events, promoting a sense of belonging and solidarity among students. This challenge also aims to combat social isolation and promote an inclusive environment.
Diverse activities for everyone
The day will be punctuated with numerous activities spread over five thematic zones:
- Competition: Sports challenges where each team will seek to accumulate as many points as possible for its campus.
- Arcade: An entertainment space with arcade games, foosball, and other fun activities.
- Battle: Individual competitions for those wishing to compete against other students.
- Part: A zone dedicated to university partners, offering valuable information and advice.
- Chill: Prevention and awareness space with workshops on essential themes such as mental health and stress management.
A festive closure
The day will end with an open-air concert. It will be a friendly moment for students. They can gather around music and festivities. This event will symbolize the spirit of camaraderie and unity that characterizes the student community of Nice.
FACE06 invites all students, both old and new, to participate in this unforgettable day. JAE is the perfect opportunity to come together. So join us from 2:00 PM at Albert I Garden and then from 6:30 PM for the start of the responsible evening.
