1. Conclave โ€“ Edward Berger

After the success of All Quiet on the Western Front (2022), Edward Berger returns with Conclave, a political thriller at the heart of Vatican intrigues. Adapted from the eponymous novel by Robert Harris, the film delves into the intense closed-door of a papal conclave where secrets and ambitions collide. 2. Wicked โ€“ Jon M. Chu

Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights) takes on a Broadway monument with Wicked. This two-part adaptation of the famous musical explores the behind-the-scenes of the Land of Oz, before Dorothy’s arrival. With unforgettable songs and spectacular staging, Chu promises a magical and immersive experience. A delight for fans of musicals and fantasy.ย 

WICKED follows the journey of the legendary witches from the world of Oz. Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman because of her unusual green skin, doesn’t even suspect the extent of her powers. Alongside her is Glinda, as popular as she is privileged, who does not yet know the true nature of her heart. Their meeting at Shiz University, in the fantastic world of Oz, marks the beginning of an improbable but profound friendship. However, their relationship with the Wizard of Oz will challenge this friendship and see their paths diverge. While Glinda, thirsty for popularity, is seduced by power, Elphaba’s determination to stay true to herself and those around her will have as unfortunate and unexpected consequences. Their extraordinary adventures in the land of Oz will ultimately lead them to fulfill their destinies as the Good and Wicked Witch of the West, respectively.

3. Their Children After Them โ€“ Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma

The essential duo of contemporary French cinema (Teddy, The Year of the Shark) adapt the Nicolas Mathieu novel, Prix Goncourt 2018. With Their Children After Them, they paint a poignant picture of a youth in search of escape in a rural France in transformation. True to their naturalistic style, the Boukherma brothers offer a story that is both intimate and universal.

4. Daddio โ€“ Christy Hall

For her first feature film, Christy Hall brings together Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn in a captivating duo. 5. Niko 2: Little Brother, Big Trouble โ€“ Kari Juusonen and Jรธrgen Lerdam

Kari Juusonen and Jรธrgen Lerdam bring back the children’s favorite reindeer for a new festive adventure. Niko 2: Little Brother, Big Trouble mixes humor, tenderness, and action in a colorful and joyful animation. Perfect for immersing the whole family in the Christmas spirit, this film reminds of the values of friendship and courage. Suitable for ages 3 and up.

Niko leaves his family to try to become a member of Santa’s flying reindeer team and meets Stella, a talented young reindeer. When Santa’s sleigh disappears, Niko and his friends head to the icy North to find it in time and save Christmas.
