The return of Yoan Makoundou
He’s not a new recruit per se, but he is an additional player in the Monegasque squad. It’s a homecoming for Yoan Makoundou. The 24-year-old French power forward returns to the principality after two years abroad, playing for Buducnost and in Turkey for Turk Telekom.
There, the young international reached new milestones while making significant progress. By the end of this season in Turkey, he averaged eleven points. He also stood out in the quarter-final of the Turkish championship by scoring sixteen points, despite his team’s defeat.
A return to the rock for someone who was French champion with Monaco during the 2022-2023 season. “I am happy to be back here in Monaco. Regarding departures, although the German Daniel Theis was announced to be leaving, he will indeed be a Monegasque next season.
