Citizens are called to the polls next March to elect their municipal and community councilors. The dates for the upcoming elections have indeed been set: March 15 and 22, 2026. However, to be able to vote in these upcoming elections, it is necessary to register on the electoral lists of your municipality. Registration on these lists can be done online up to the sixth Wednesday before the election.
Conditions to meet
To request registration on the electoral lists, you must meet two cumulative conditions. The first is to have the right to vote, which implies:
- having French nationality;
- being of legal age (18 years old) at the latest on the day before the election;
- enjoying civil and political rights.
The second condition corresponds to the connection with the municipality in terms of:
- your primary residence;
- your status as a taxpayer;
- your status as a company manager.

- proof of identity (national identity card);

- a Cerfa form No. 12669 for registration available at the town hall.
