Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes department offer a varied program to celebrate Halloween. Escape game at the castle, electro festival, horror cinema, or night trail—there are about ten events to celebrate Halloween amidst mystery, music, and costumes, all in complete safety.

Until November 2, the Alpes-Maritimes are adorned in Halloween colors. In Nice, Juan-les-Pins, Valbonne, and Saint-Martin-Vésubie, there is no shortage of entertainment options, be it for thrills or simply to have a good time. From costume parties to immersive shows and family activities, everyone can find their vibe.

Cultural venues and local organizers are each hosting their event. The Château de Crémat opens its gardens for an immersive experience combining riddles and a candlelit tour. Participants form teams to solve a series of challenges and progress through a scripted course. The animations play on mystery and crafted scenery.

Le Chantier 109 hosts an electro night dedicated to Halloween. The format emphasizes music, light effects, and costume play. Several DJs will take the stage, and the audience is invited to come in costume. The atmosphere aims to extend the night.

The OCEANICE Congress Center offers a themed musical evening focused on hits from the 1990s and 2000s. The public is invited to dance to a selection of well-known tracks. The dress code embraces the Halloween theme to provide a visual unity to the evening.

For metal enthusiasts, Altherax Music organizes two tribute concert nights. The bands plan to play songs from well-known groups in the genre. The event combines live performance with a dark aesthetic.

Family Activities and Workshops

Several family activities are offered during this period. Parc Alpha, in Saint-Martin-Vésubie in the hinterland, organizes activities themed around Halloween. The park adjusts its hours and content to welcome families. Some activities are free for the youngest visitors.

Confiserie Florian opens its workshop for thematic visits. The outing combines candy-making and tasting. The activity is aimed at families and visitors curious about how certain local specialties are made.

Villa Kérylos offers theater workshops for kids. The sessions focus on creatures and stories from mythology. The workshops are held in the mornings and target the youngest participants.

A mini pumpkin decorating workshop takes place in Vence. The workshop spans several days and is aimed at an adult audience looking to learn or deepen decorative techniques.

Sports Events and Unique Experiences

L’Épouvant’Trail features a nighttime start from Sophia Antipolis. Runners start in the late afternoon with headlamps. The course combines sport and a haunted atmosphere, sometimes including performance points and animations along the route. The event is open from a certain age and requires appropriate attire.

Several places offer unique experiences for adults. Axe Throwing Nice organizes an evening where participants can practice supervised object throwing. A coastal bar in Juan-les-Pins transforms its stage for a night with themed cocktails, DJs, and a costume contest.

On October 31, a night dedicated to the Day of the Dead will present a different cultural approach at Stockfish. The event will highlight music, dance, and Latin American cuisine. Rules and Safety During the Period

The departmental authorities have enacted temporary measures for the period. The prefect reminds that the distribution and transport of certain fuels in portable containers are restricted for a few days. The possession, sale, and use of certain entertainment fireworks are banned until November 2, 2025, inclusive. The use of fireworks in public spaces is regulated.

Restrictions apply to the take-out sale and transport of alcoholic beverages from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily until November 2 inclusive. Alcohol consumption in public spaces is prohibited in targeted areas. Law enforcement will conduct checks to ensure these rules are followed. Organizers and the public are urged to exercise caution when choosing costumes, especially to avoid items that might cause alarm.
