The SummEAT Fest will return this Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Chรขteau de Crรฉmat. The event will bring together professionals from the restaurant and hospitality industries for conferences, workshops, and activities open to the public. This edition will focus on the evolving nature of the profession and emerging practices.
The SummEAT Fest was created by two professionals, Masha Hรฉdo and Cindy Kawak, with the aim of providing a shared space for those in the restaurant and hospitality industries. They explain that they envisioned an event capable of offering “concrete ideas, authentic encounters, and a sense of belonging to an engaged community.” The main theme of this second edition will be “the future of the profession.”
The festival will take place at the Chรขteau de Crรฉmat, a wine estate overlooking Nice. The event will utilize several areas of the site. The Antoine Hall will host the conferences. The Verriรจre Hall will be dedicated to workshops. The kitchens and gardens will serve as areas accessible to the general public.
The organizers announce five conferences and ten workshops intended for professionals. Participants will be able to discuss trends in the restaurant industry, management, digital tools, and customer experience. Podcasts will be recorded throughout the day.
The program brings together recognized figures. Among the announced speakers are Virginie Basselot, executive chef of the Negresco, Philippe Cannatella, founder of the Gusto Family group, and Fred Ghintran, restaurateur and president of the FHRT Nice Cรดte d’Azur Restaurant branch โ UMIH 06. The workshops will cover operational topics. Masha Hรฉdo will explain “how to appear first on Google without paying.” Cindy Kawak will present management and recruitment methods. Speakers from the fields of sommelier, digital, or Japanese cuisine will also lead workshops aimed at providing immediate action points.
An accessible event for the public with culinary and family activities
The SummEAT Fest also offers a public segment. Access will be granted through a dedicated Pass. Visitors will have access to culinary activities and workshops for all ages. The program includes a pizza workshop, a mobile coffee shop, a macaron stand, wine tastings, and a magic show. Contests will offer the chance to win meals at several partnering restaurants.
Chef Denis Gamard, from the beach restaurant Castel, will organize a gastronomic contest inspired by the Trophรฉe Masse. The tasting that follows will be open to the public. A pop-up restaurant will also offer a contest with a chance to win a dinner. Gusto Family will organize another contest, with a meal for two as the prize.
The venue will also host musicians, a photobooth, visual artists, and an interactive workshop. A tour of the chรขteau will be offered. These activities will allow the public to discover the festival’s universe and experience a day focused on cuisine, expertise, and exchange.
The festival will open its doors at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. The private cocktail will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are available for pre-sale on the site summeatfest.com. The Standard Pass for professionals will grant access to all conferences and workshops. The Prestige Pass will include the closing cocktail.
