As part of the 2026 Cannes Festival, World Woman Cannes 2026 brought together influential figures from the world of creation, culture, cinema and female entrepreneurship for three days around the major transformations of the global creative industry.

Driven by the World Woman Foundation, the event highlighted the central role of women in a creative economy that today generates more than 2,250 billion dollars per year globally. Between artificial intelligence, new distribution models, cultural engagement and female representation, the discussions illustrated the profound changes in a sector undergoing complete redefinition.

Among the remarkable interventions of this edition, that of Countess Chiara Modica Donà Dalle Rose, philanthropist, lawyer, art curator and collector, particularly drew attention during the conference dedicated to the theme: “Art as a Force for Equality.”

Descending from a great Venetian family and committed to promoting contemporary art, she developed strong reflection on the need to preserve cultural identity in a society dominated by social networks and the standardization of images.

Too many people are losing their identity today through social networks, she explained, emphasizing the importance of reconnecting aesthetics to history, philosophy and culture.

Her intervention also highlighted an Italian design company based in Venice, specializing in creating unique artistic pieces combining luxury craftsmanship and contemporary art. The concept is based on the use of artistic painting applied directly to bags and design objects, transformed into true works of art.

Each piece you hold in your hands is unique, she emphasized, recalling that the approach goes far beyond a simple fashion accessory. The objective is to produce a genuine cultural object, conceived as a complete artistic work.

The company collaborates with artists from around the world and today claims a leader position in Italy in this sector blending artistic creation, design and artisanal expertise. Presented by Veronica, representative of the design house, this vision defends a creative economy where art becomes a vector of education, cultural transmission and social impact.

Through this meeting, World Woman Cannes2026 confirmed the growing place of culture and contemporary art in debates about the future of creative industries, while recalling that innovation cannot be built without identity, without memory and without artistic vision.
