The Lignes d’Azur network will be disrupted again on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 due to a labor action. A week after a first strike, several lines will operate according to Sunday and public holiday schedules.
Users of Lignes d’Azur will once again have to adjust their travel plans. A labor action will affect the network on Wednesday, July 22, which is the second one in a week following the strike on Wednesday, July 15.
Several lines will operate according to Sunday and public holiday schedules throughout the entire day. This measure affects lines 1, 2, 3, B, 5, 6, 7, 8+, 11, 12+, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 (from Vauban to Saint-André-de-la-Roche only), 20, 21, 30, 32, 33, 35, 38, 57, 64, 70, 81, 98 and 99.
The first departures of lines 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 15, 21 and 57 will nevertheless maintain their usual weekday schedules to allow early morning travel.
No service will be provided on lines 36, 37 and Cadam East, while all other lines on the network will operate normally.
Wage claims remain at the heart of the dispute
Despite this new strike, Lignes d’Azur will maintain service to the stadium for The Weeknd’s concert. Reinforcements are planned on lines 2, 3 and B, while shuttle services connecting parking areas will also be provided.
The Mobil’Azur call center and On-Demand Transport (TAD) will remain closed during the day. Lignes d’Azur commercial agencies and all PARCAZUR facilities will, however, be open to the public.
This strike is the second one organized in a week on the network. Employees are demanding a wage increase that they consider insufficient. The repetition of these labor actions has now placed this issue among the top priorities for negotiation by the new city council, which is called upon to find a solution to end this series of disruptions to transportation in the Nice metropolitan area.
