Since 2020, Côte d’Azur University’s ranking has experienced several changes. In 2020, the institution occupied the 301-400 range, corresponding to its best position over the period. A decline to the 401-500 range followed in 2021, before another drop in 2022, with a position between 501st and 600th place.

Côte d’Azur University subsequently returned to the 401-500 range in 2023. This position was maintained in 2024 and 2025. The 2026 edition thus brings the university back to the 501-600 range.
